Description
Discover the wine that has been praised by popes and princes alike for centuries due to its elegance and noble structure. Our tour takes you to the heart of what was once known as Mons Politianus—“Mount of the Nobles”—originally settled by the Etruscans. The first stop will be the Avignonesi cellars, is one of the best-known producers of Nobile di Montepulciano. You will have the special opportunity to experience the best of nature’s colors, smells and flavors. Next we will discover the very special “Round vineyard”, an experimental take on the traditional growing method. Lunch is served family style with Tuscan bread, high quality olive oil and regional products, all paired with their wine production. A tavola with a main course of Cinta Senese pig, an ancient Tuscan breed that is raised near the estate. And before we finish, a last stop at a second winery. There is a secret Nobile di Montepulciano that few know
of, far from the spotlight and the big names that have made Montepulciano world famous. It is a small, family owned
property that enchants with the history of their wines and their land. We will experience their artistic interpretations of the terroir and at the end of the day be ready to get acquaintance with the best Nobile wines from Montepulciano! Become familiar with the world of small wineries in Montepulciano!
