views. The hot air balloon is the oldest successful human-carrying flight technology. This airborne adventure allows you to travel with the wind so you never know exactly where you’ll fly or what you’ll see. Marvel at the beautiful Tuscan landscape hundreds or even thousands of feet below. Flights take place near dawn and dusk when the wind is the calmest. Arrive at the launch site to be welcomed by your pilot. Our pilots are experienced professionals with Commercial Balloon Pilot Licenses and many hundreds of hours of experience, so you’re in safe hands.
The pilot will introduce you to hot air ballooning and give you a full safety briefing. Climb into the balloon basket for liftoff, rising smoothly towards the clouds. It’s an almost motionless experience so, have your camera ready for amazing views of the patchwork landscape and possible wildlife sightings. The only thing breaking the silence will be the occasional roar of the burners. After a magical hour in the sky, the pilot will find a suitable landing spot and bring the balloon to land. Still glowing from the experience, enjoy a Tuscan breakfast with local products and a glass of wine or soft drink to accompany. The whole experience will last about 5 hours and can be added to customized itineraries. Follow to by a pleasant drive through the Chianti, after this experience, you can relax, reflect and regale while tasting some lavish Chianti wines at a nearby winery before getting back to the hotel.

We regret to inform that this tour is not suitable for guests with wheelchairs or with impaired mobility.
Please note that Italy's law doesn't permit selling alcoholic beverage to teens under 18 y.o. so clients under this age will be served non-alcoholic beverages.

Rain Policy

The tour departure might be cancelled due to rain.
We will do our best to proceed with the tour. However rain or bad weater conditions could prevent us from being able to offer an enjoyable and fully safe experience.
In any case, clients should show up at the meeting point at the scheduled time, or contact the office in advance.
In case we cancel the tour (and only in this case), guest options are:
1) Rain check to be used the following day or at any other time, subject to availability. The Rain check is a voucher given to client. The voucher is transferable and may be sold or given to others to use at a future date and lasts up to 1 year from date. It has a value that can be possible used in any other tour provided by our company.
2) 100% refund for tour cancellation.
Please note that clients' safety and comfort are of utmost priority. In any case, clients should show up at the meeting point at the scheduled time, or contact the office in advance. No-shows will not be refunded.
